Job Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and
completeness and resolve any discrepancies identified during reconciliations.
Prepare supporting documentation for all balance sheet accounts.
Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring all entries are properly documented and approved.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary journal entries.
Review the accuracy of journal entries and other accounting records.
Compile and prepare monthly management reports, including financial statements and other key performance indicators.
Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of management reports.
Identify ways to improve accounting processes and systems.
Support system and process improvements
Ad hoc duties where required
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance,
or related field
Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is preferred.
Minimum 2 years' experience in
accounting, finance or similar roles
Strong understanding of
accounting principles and financial reporting standards
Proficiency in accounting
software and MS Office, especially Excel
Excellent analytical and problem
solving skills
Ability to prioritise tasks and
work under deadlines
Attention to detail and
problem-solving aptitude
Strong communication skills
Ability to learn quickly and think outside of the box
