The Role We are currently looking for an experienced Assets & Logistics Manager to lead our Assets & Transport Team and work alongside our Production Manager & Asphalt Laying Manager.
The position is based at our Wangara depot, reporting to one of the Co-General Managers.
The Salary and package available is DOE.
Role Requirements Efficiently and effectively manage and maintain the asset register and forward works requirements for Roads 2000, including the scheduling of major works and shutdowns.Lead the Assets and Transport team and participate in a team environment that ensures the efficient and effective operation of each business unit.Ensure consistent achievement of financial performance targets, critical success factors and other Key Performance Indicators established in strategic and business plans.Develop relationships with key customers and promote a customer-focused culture.Manage PPHG team and premises, & assist in any dispute resolution.Manage the process for procurement and disposal of assets and assess the lifespan of machinery.Assist in developing a fleet management plan and drive its implementation.Manage lease and servicing agreements with clients.Identify and implement approved systems improvements to maximise efficiencies.Ensure compliance with all MRWA legislation, including obtaining necessary permits.Ensure compliance with Fatigue Management legislation and Chain of Responsibility.Ensure all fleet licensing and compliance obligations are met.Carry out asset inspections as necessary.Truck Driver allocation and scheduling to maximise productivity and income.Management of subcontractors' works and costs.Raising and receipting Purchase orders & completing end of month invoicing as required.Rostering and timesheet approvals of direct reports and subcontractors.Ensure Work, Health and Safety policies and procedures are followed.Compliance to maintaining documentation in INX.Monitor GPS Data software.Report truck incidents and breakdowns.Complete performance reviews with staff.Experience Minimum 5 years' relevant industry experience.Minimum 3 years' experience leading a team.Experience using MYOB.Demonstrated experience operating Trucks and machinery (machine tickets preferred but not essential).The ideal candidate will have experience working in a team, leading and managing a team, with great communication skills, a can-do attitude, and a willingness to learn.Qualifications Certificate IV in Business Management (desirable).Fatigue Management.Chain of Responsibility.Valid Driver's License.Valid WA White Card.Police clearance.What we Offer Company EAP program.Annual Company New Financial Year Celebration.Annual Company Christmas Celebration.Ongoing Training & Development.Due to the volume of applications, only successful candidates will be contacted.
