The Role: A fantastic opportunity has become available for a suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated Full Time Night Cleaning Services Supervisor to join our team at Canberra Centre in Canberra, ACT 2608. As the Night Cleaning Services Supervisor , you will oversee the daily operations of our cleaning team, transforming curious visitors into loyal customers while supervising and leading a team dedicated to providing award-winning retail customer service. As part of the Assetlink team, your main focus will be on developing a high-performing cleaning team. You will efficiently manage all day-to-day cleaning operations, including staff training, tracking cleaning service delivery, rostering, auditing, and other operational requirements.
The roster for this position is:
Monday to Friday - 1034 to 0600 If you have leadership and commercial or retail cleaning experience and would like to be part of a team that makes a difference, then we would love to hear from you.
Role Requirements: Managinga high-performing cleaning team Provide effective leadership to cleaning personnel, including mentoring and training Leading and inspiring team members to deliver superior guest experiences Performing administrative functions, such as incident reporting and assisting with staff rosters, etc Meet and exceed contract cleaning requirements Develop and maintain excellent customer relations with the client Understand customer's security, environmental and safety requirements Following Occupational Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures Responding to general cleaning, periodical, preventative and emergency incidents or queries To be considered for the position you must have the following: Current Australian C class Driver's Licence Must have permanent full work rights in Australia Must be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance Check A minimum of 1-2 years experience in retail/commercial cleaning Previous experience managinga team Strong understanding of hard floor cleaning practices and related machinery Knowledge of cleaning practices, including infection control Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Good administrative skills and is proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other computer applications Ability to give direction and instruction to people Ability to multi-task, be flexible and work under pressure Consistent attention to detail Flexibility to work weekends What we offer you: Reward and recognition incentives Ongoing training and development A safe and supportive working environment Career development A family-oriented culture Free uniform Onsite parking
