This Role PayJoy is seeking a highly skilled Asset Valuation Manager to join our Portfolio Management team. You will be responsible for overseeing the valuation process of our asset portfolio, ensuring accuracy and reliability of financial reporting, and leveraging data-driven insights to optimize financial strategies while maintaining focus on PayJoy's mission to bring finance to the next billion. The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background, proficiency in Python and SQL programming languages, and is deeply motivated by PayJoy's mission to improve financial inclusion.

Responsibilities Calibrate and Review Asset Valuation Methodology: Lead the calibration and ongoing review of asset valuation methodologies for our 200+ million USD portfolio. Develop Back Testing Methods: Establish robust back testing methods to validate asset valuations and monitor valuation errors on a continuous basis. Collaborate with Accounting and Finance Teams: Work closely with accounting and finance teams to integrate asset valuations into financial statements and understand their impact on the organization's financial performance. Build Predictive Models: Develop and maintain Python-based models to enhance the predictability of financial forecasts and capital requirements in collaboration with the capital markets and FP&A teams. Executive Visibility and Impact: Present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior management and executive teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and modeling. Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to solve complex problems related to asset valuation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively. Prior experience in asset valuation, financial modeling, or related fields is highly desirable. Additional Qualifications (nice to have) Background in start-up/fintech.
