What we are looking for: As the Asset Renewal Project Coordinator you'll plan, manage and deliver assets and infrastructure projects at any of the ~200 sites (involving 12 treatment plants, pump stations, and reservoirs). Your work is vital to ensure the efficient operation and renewal of crucial water and sewerage infrastructure.
Strong stakeholder engagement is essential as you'll collaborate daily with civil, electrical, and mechanical specialists to ensure best practices in asset management and service delivery.
What your day will look like: Project manage the delivery of minor and moderate renewal projects as required. Works scheduling, budget, stakeholder and resource management. Manage procurement, including contract preparation, tender process, contract award, construction, commissioning, training and hand over. Ensure asset investment capitalisation is undertaken as projects are completed. Ensure projects deliver value for money. Undertake effective stakeholder engagement with operational and management personnel. Delivery of effective training to bring assets into service. What you'll need for success: Bachelor's Degree in Asset Management/Engineering, or equivalent experience, or extensive trade experience in a relevant discipline. Experience in design, construction and asset management. Experience preparing tender documentation, including technical specifications, general conditions of contract and drawings. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Intermediate computer proficiency utilising the Microsoft suite of products. Experience in an operations environment including the generation of cost estimates and quotations or budgetary estimating. Licences Current Driver's Licence General Construction Induction Training Card (White Card) or ability to obtain What's nice to have: Comprehensive knowledge and experience within the water industry or relevant industry.
