Fulltime opportunity with a monthly RDO Support the collection and management of accurate and meaningful asset data Supportive organisational culture and great team environment We are expanding our Asset team and are searching for a passionate individual to assist in the collection, management and analysis of accurate and meaningful asset data for all infrastructure assets within the Shire.
This includes roads, pathways, drainage, parks and reserves, facilities and other Shire-owned or managed infrastructure.

The Shire of Capel is located in the South West, halfway between Bunbury and Busselton.

As our Asset Officer your will collect and maintain detailed information on the full range of Shire infrastructure assets, ensuring accuracy, completeness and efficiency that supports organisational planning.
This will include conducting physical asset inspections and liaising with key stakeholders to facilitate effective and timely transfer of information from other business units.
Your excellent data analysis skills and computer proficiency will enable you to maintain the Shire's Asset Management systems to a high standard, with the ability to extract technical information and reports as needed to meet statutory requirements and support long-term Asset Management planning.

To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate: Behaviour that positively demonstrates the Shire's HEART of: Honesty, Empathy, Accountability, Respect and Teamwork Experience in the collection, recording and analysis of asset data Sound survey and measurement skills, with a general understanding of road construction and engineering processes for effective asset management Strong computer skills, and experience with databases and asset management software Excellent time management skills Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with the ability to contribute constructively within a collaborative team environment Quality focus with a commitment to continuous improvement  Qualifications or experience in Asset Management, developed CAD Skills and experience with GIS systems will be highly regarded.
