We are recruiting an Asset Management / Reliability Specialist for the Carmichael Mine, which is a 10mtpa coal mine located north-west of Clermont in central Queensland.
ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Lead - Asset Strategy, you will be responsible for overseeing both Bravus owned assets and contractor supplied assets at our Carmichael Mine.
There are a series of activities that require oversight from a technical and contractual management perspective to support our contracts and ensure that assets are maintained to a standard that achieves the business's long-term performance requirements.
Responsibilities of the role include: Request, review and audit downtime associated RCA's from contractorsBuild asset performance improvement plans to address chronic or systemic performance below planGovern site reliability processes and plant and equipment standardsConduct financial investigations into variations to contract costings and claimsProvide responses to business queries on maintenance costs and strategiesCoordinate communications for major downtime events and repair statusConduct in-field inspections and audits of maintenance activities to monitor maintenance execution service qualityDevelop, justify and implement capital projects to facilitate equipment performance improvementsManage procurement and commercial related matters for company supplied materials and consumablesManage owner asset procurement from approval to delivery and commissioningLiaise on behalf of the company with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) to ensure performance of assetsREQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE Our people are dynamic, passionate, solutions-focused and diverse.
