Hicks Civil & Mining are seeking an exceptional assets and logistics administrator to ensure every project is equipped with the right assets at the right time, every time!
Permanent, full-time position: Mon-FriBased in Port Hedland (residential role, no fifo or dido)Reporting to the local Assets & Logistics Manager.You will support all Hicks Civil and Mining facilities, including our Karratha depot, site based projects and the corporate office in Perth.
We undertake major projects across Western Australia, partnering with industry giants like Rio Tinto, BHP, and Perdaman, and have earned a strong reputation for reliably and successfully delivering civil, earthworks, and heavy haulage projects.
The Role Your responsibilities will include coordinating the maintenance and procurement of plant and equipment across the business. You will need to follow procedures diligently while also having the confidence to suggest improvements and new ideas.
Some key responsibilities of this role are:
Schedule maintenance of work orders and services for projects and plant.Parts ordering, pricing negotiations, availability and follow up.Mobilisation and de-mob of equipment.Reporting in areas such as inventory usage, status, efficiency.Coordinating the efficient repair of any equipment in line with schedules and in the event of breakdowns.Building and maintaining client relationships.The Person Experience within assets & logistics, and/or heavy haulage and transport within the civil and mining sectors is preferred.Exceptional administrative skills, with proven skills in planning and scheduling work in a fast-paced environment.Strong Microsoft Office and systems skills are essential.Ability to engage with, anticipate and meet the needs of customers, both internal and external.The Reason Why You Should Apply!
