The Opportunity The Industrial Asset Inspector is responsible for ensuring key equipment at our waste treatment plants are fit for service.
Responsibilities will include: Undertake full internal and external inspections of tanks and pressure vessels in line with AS3788, API653, API510, etc and contribute to the coordination of Cleanaway's asset integrity programs.
•     Application of, and qualifications to these standards is mandatory.
Advise maintenance groups of inspection preparation requirements, repair methods to return equipment to service, and support field checks to ensure quality work is conducted Advise engineering and operational groups of in-service factors that might impact asset life or integrity failures, such as corrosion mechanisms, design & manufacturing best practices Develop further risk-based inspection programs across a national portfolio of assets & sites Develop inspection reports and advise on future asset management requirements, including updated inspection intervals and asset life Cultivating a strong safety culture through employee engagement and continuous improvement, including owning the process safety interactions with asset management (such as asset integrity in-service inspection requirements, etc)  About You Proven experience in conducting fixed asset inspections in refinery or heavy industry environments with strong "hands-on" knowledge across a range of NDT methods Familiarity with applying industry standards, guidelines and codes as they relate to asset inspections and integrity Demonstrated ability to communicate findings verbally and through clear documented reporting and manage stakeholder expectations across multiple levels of the organization Ability to read, analyse and interpret technical procedures, industry guidance and government regulations Ability to work with maintenance systems, planning tools, field inspection instruments and generate compliance certificates Flexible Location, and able to travel nationally to our operating locations  Why join Cleanaway?
