About the role: We are seeking experienced Asset Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Geraldton. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our fleet of owned + cross hired construction equipment and assets, ensuring optimal performance and availability for our projects. 
With an already developed system and frame work in place to support the role, you've got a great team to work with, we welcome your experience in implementing new ideas and growing the system and processes. 
The successful applicant will have a Logistics management background, be a confident mover and shaker who can influence the workplace with their experience while meeting operational requirements.
Monday - Friday Full Time. Geraldton based (37.5 hours per week) - weekly payroll to boot
Key Responsibilities:  Oversee + coordinate the planning, coordination, and maintenance of all construction plant and equipmentMaintain accurate records of asset utilisation, maintenance schedules, and repairsAssist in the procurement of plant - there will be training provided herePurchasing and cross hiring of assets - we have established relationships and training will be provided hereIssuing of plant hire agreements - we have established contracts and relationships and training will be provided hereComplete Asset & Plant paperwork for site mobilisation and project requirementsMaintaining plant utilisation and cost records - our systems support his process with training also provided if requiredGeneral administrative functions as required for the roleReporting on plant – low under-utilised plant, location, availability, defects, services due. Cost tracking across the plant dept – EOM Prep Reporting and workshop budget support functionHire function –Record keeping & total ownership of hire process.Accreditation reporting – ownership of RAV file, Weekly HSEQ stats, workshop compliance (test/tag/lifting register/ inspections/ audit outcomes.Plant costs – cost allocation, invoice batching, hire agreement review.Keeping accurate records for audit process. The successful applicants will have or be able to demonstrate; A background in contract administration - desirable but not essentialBackground / understanding of Fleet & MachineryLogistics Management background - highly favourableIntermediate to Advanced computer skills including excel and outlookExcellent communication and organisational skillsAbility to work well in a fast paced team environmentAbility to learn new computer software's and systems promptly Use initiative and switched on at all timesPositive work attitude and great work ethic, being motivated to learn the role requirementsValid C Class drivers' licence at minimum Physically fit and able with the ability to pass drug and alcohol screeningWhy Join Red Dust Holdings: RDH are a progressive Civil Construction Contractor based in the Midwest.
