As an Assembly, Maintenance & Overhaul (AMO) Technician – Wireline / E-Line, you will be providing high-quality maintenance services as part of the Wireline Services Team at the Baker Hughes facility in South Australia. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects and develop innovations.
Salary range: AUD 70,000 - AUD 97,000 per Annum
Responsibilities:
Disassembling, Assembling, Testing and Torquing of rental tools in accordance with internal procedures and processes.
Following all procedures and processes for disassembly, assembly as part of the 'redress cycle' including torquing and testing requirements.
Ensuring all data is accurately filled in electronically and uploaded in the system.
Analyzing and interpreting data from inspection tests and troubleshooting equipment problems.
Collaborating with larger teams within Engineering and Reliability groups.
Qualifications:
Technical diploma or associate degree in electrical or mechanical field or equivalent.
At least 5 years of maintenance-related experience.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists.
Proficiency in the use of measurement and gauging equipment and processes.
Proficiency in the use of multimeters, megohmmeters, hi-pot testers and other basic instruments.
Advanced skills in soldering and assembling of electro-mechanical devices.
Valid driving license (international / local) and Forklift License.
Passed either IELTS, TOEFL, PTE academic, Cambridge English Advance or OET (Required for work permit application).
