Reporting to the Asphalt & Recycling Area Manager and working closely with the production team to ensure the safe, accurate and reliable testing of product whilst providing training and technical supervision of laboratory staff.
In your new role, you will:Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers whilst still providing professional technical support.Optimise mix costs whilst maintaining product performance.Co-ordinate the review and purchase of planned or urgent resources.Measure and review the efficiency and effectiveness of allocation, training, audit and assessment, NATA compliance, special testing and trial mix activities.Solve complex problems and develop practical solutions and address product performance concerns within agreed time constraints.Drive technical improvements to business products and processes as well as customer outcomes.Monitor raw material and finished product performance.Develop, monitor and review inspection and test plans.This role is a great fit for you, if:You have a successful track record with at least 5 years' experience within a lab or within the technical field with high attention to detail and outstanding communication and engagement skills.You have a positive and influential presence in building strong and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.You have a passion for delivering remarkable customer service and great results.What we offer:You will be rewarded with an attractive remuneration package, company vehicle, phone, laptop.Be part of a highly recognised global brand name and growing organisation.Ongoing career and development opportunities.Our Benefits
