About the Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Corporate Services team as an Aboriginal Project Manager for the New Women's and Children's Hospital, where you will be responsible for:
Leading Aboriginal consumer and community engagement for the New WCH Planning and Design aspects of the New WCH Project in collaboration with the Aboriginal Health Division.Ensuring service planning, models of care, and development of physical designs undertaken for the New WCH are consistent with the organisation's clinical service profile and functional relationships in the context of the WCHN Strategy 2026: Realising Potential, Creating Together.Facilitating reviews and analyses of critical issues pertaining to options for health service provision for Aboriginal consumers in the context of the New WCH Project.Contributing to the development of policies, procedures, executive briefings and presentations.Contributes to the provision of cultural input, both strategic development and operational decision making for service delivery on behalf of Aboriginal consumers.About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven ability to share Aboriginal cultural and professional knowledge and skills with others.Knowledge of the issues facing Aboriginal families in accessing health services, and of issues faced by staff in service delivery and how they relate to the building design.Knowledge of local Aboriginal communities and aboriginal cultures; including Aboriginal history, kinship systems and family structures, spirituality/religion, values and beliefs.Proven high level experience in project planning and delivery within a clinical service environment, including managing complex stakeholder engagement, risk, and change management processes.Highly effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to provide expert advice on a range of sensitive and complex issues.Proven capacity to work effectively under broad direction, exercise initiative, judgement, and make timely and well informed decisions for complex and/or sensitive matters.What WCHN Can Offer You Salary package a range of benefits (including living expenses such as mortgage, rent, utility bills and groceries) up to $9,010 each FBT year + $2,650 for Meal Entertainment expenses each FBT year.Access to Fitness Passport (workplace health and fitness program that gives you and your family access to a wide choice of gyms and pools across South Australia.
