About theRole: As the Compliance Project Officerwithin Asset and Facility Services, you will report to the Managerof Asset and Facility Services. Your role will be crucial inoverseeing the administrative functions and activities associatedwith monitoring and actioning compliance-related tasks. Yourcontributions will support the implementation of asset managementinitiatives, policies, and procedures, providing accurate advice tothe Minister for Education, senior executives, managers, andrelevant personnel on facility-related issues.
KeyResponsibilities: Apply operational Asset andFacility Services policies, processes, fact sheets, andguidelines to ensure compliance priorities are addressed,monitored, and actioned accurately and promptly. Research and providesolutions to relevant issues, refer complex and sensitivequeries to the appropriate delegate, and ensure all issues areresolved appropriately. Engage with thedepartment's clients on various infrastructure-relatedcompliance issues (e.g., playground, asbestos audits), andassist in managing annual programs to ensure data, inspections,and corrective actions are handled appropriately. Capture and record clientinquiries to maintain accurate records using the appropriateasset information system, following the department'srecords management protocols. Review practices andprocedures, recommend improved processes for greaterefficiencies, and develop and implement Asset and FacilityServices procedures and guidelines to provide effectiveservices to clients and stakeholders. Work collaboratively withdepartmental personnel, including the Work Health and Safetyteam, and external stakeholders concerning the AcrossGovernment Facilities Management Arrangements(AGFMA). Special Conditions: The successful applicant isrequired to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working withchildren check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required tobe renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will berequired to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm,Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass)extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will berequired to be updated every three years.

Remuneration: ASO4 $75,430 - $79,070 per annum(1.0 FTE), plus superannuation.
