The Position:
We are looking for a Site Supervisor (working on the tools) to help our Project Managers deliver our projects in the Maryborough/Hervey Bay/Sunshine Coast region with an immediate start (where possible) . Our Site Supervisors are the face of Ascot Group on site. Once the project has been handed to them they take the reins and run the show. They work closely with Project Managers and Trades people (internal & external), and are required to also work on the tools. They are responsible for everything that happens on site including delivering the project scope on time to a high-quality level and ensure that trade labour and materials are within budget.
ABOUT YOU
You are a qualified trades person preferably with hands on building experience. You have previous site management experience with projects up to the value of $1.5 Million. You are passionate about delivering quality projects and customer satisfaction, whilst maintaining a keen eye for detail. You like to have fun and are looking for a company that offers a work-life balance, stability, and career progression.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following;
Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent Industry White Card (former Red Card acceptable) Maintain a full Queensland (or recognised equivalent) Driver's License Have access to a full kit of reliable trade appropriate tools inclusive of vehicle (which can carry materials) during work hours Extensive carpentry or other equivalent trade experience Demonstrated experience supervising/managing construction projects, including overseeing multiple trades, across multiple sites simultaneously Strong understanding of the end to end to build process Ability to prioritise and schedule work, manage a diary and work to tight timeframes Strong understanding of OHS site requirements Mixture of residential and commercial experience (preferably both) Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues to achieve excellent work quality What you get
