This is a First Nations identified role, and as a People & Corporate Affairs Graduate, you will have the opportunity to work across many areas of the team, supporting a variety of initiatives. Some activities include working on our Community Partnerships & Engagement, Environment, Social and Governance initiatives, and our Employee Value Proposition.
Our People & Corporate Affairs Graduate role is open to all Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with Australian or New Zealand Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency who have graduated in the last Two (2) years or will be graduating this year.We are looking for applicants who have an understanding of Australian First Nations history, protocols, and significant people and events, and have demonstrated connection and involvement with local Aboriginal Communities.In accordance with subsection 8(1) of the Racial Discrimination Act 1975, this position is exclusively open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, with the aim of enhancing agency representation of these communities. The role also requires cultural knowledge, community connections, or demonstrated capability.

Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP): Be an integral part of our reconciliation journey by supporting the development and implementation of Asahi's first RAP. Your insights and efforts will help shape our initiatives and drive meaningful change.Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI): Support the coordination of initiatives across the organisation including conducting research and analysis to identify best practices, as well as preparing reports, presentations, and communications to provide updates on the progress of multiple initiatives.Cross-functional Journey: Embark on a diverse career path by working across the People & Corporate Affairs team as well as the wider functions of Asahi Beverages. Through the RAP project, you will engage in initiatives related to diversity and inclusion, community engagement, and ESG.Networking Opportunities: Exposure to different departments will help you grow your network. You will be dealing with managers, colleagues, and fellow graduates from different backgrounds and disciplines.Personal & Professional Development: We provide you with on-the-job training, projects, and ongoing learning and development opportunities.
