Job Description Job Profile - Product Specialist, Insolvency
Fulfil the role of Product Specialist to service our Insolvency software division in Australia.
Product management involves speaking with clients about product features, compiling and logging development items, liaising with development on the viability of enhancements.
You will need to follow development items thought to release and review to ensure that client requirements have been met and communicated.
There is a product testing component to review development work and provide feedback.
Your contribution Product demonstrations
Working in coordination with sales staff, attend pre-sales demonstrations, provide product demos and share domain knowledge about the operation of the software.
Product Engagement
Engage with clients about product features, compiling and logging development items, and liaising with development on the viability of enhancements.
Ensure that client requirements have been met and communicated during the development process.
Review development work and provide feedback as part of product testing.
Client interactions
Play a key, hands-on role communicating with clients and understanding their future requirements.
Be involved with the creation of blog content and newsletters on product releases and features.
Pre-installation audits
For new client installs, understand the client environment and provide minimum software requirements.
Release notes and knowledgebase
Assist with writing up product release notes and knowledgebase articles to assist users when releasing the software.
Product Training
Provide product training in a workshop environment or remotely, typically in small groups.
Review, update, and author new training materials.
Focus groups and workshops
Gather content and hold focus groups and workshops either remotely or at a venue.
Procedures, checklists and document template consulting
Assist clients with their insolvency procedures, statutory compliance procedures, and consulting on authoring document templates.
This may require site visits and hands-on assistance.
Project management
Manage the implementation of specific development processes, coordinate development tasks, attend project meetings, and manage product timelines.
