Full time, fixed-term position until 30 June 2025 Fantastic opportunity to join our Arts & Culture team Reporting to the Senior Coordinator Civic & Cultural Facilities , you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing nominated projects specific to the department.
A little bit about the role The Arts & Culture Project Lead is responsible for coordinating and overseeing nominated projects including planning, writing tender specifications, coordination, evaluation and assist the delivery of capital works or priority projects as required for the Arts & Culture department.
In addition, this role has a high administrative function within the Facilities Team including contract management support, ticketing, rostering, supplier coordination and event bookings.
What you will bring to the role? You will be part of a small, highly productive and engaged team that operates in a fast-paced environment. You will thrive on working on a range of complex tasks at once and be agile whilst tapping into your initiative, creative thinking, and project management experience.
Experience and Other Requirements Demonstrated ability and experience in project management methodologies. Experience in managing customer facing projects in the Arts and/or Hospitality that involve engagement with a range of stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in contract management, including ability in delivering multiple projects in medium to large corporate environment. Demonstrated experience in management and monitoring of Hospitality licence agreements. Employment Requirements A relevant tertiary qualification or Certificate IV in Project Management coupled with substantial experience in a relevant field. Preferred applicants will be required to undergo a National Police Record Check and hold a valid Working with Children Clearance.
