Position Summary Reporting to the Head of Artistic Coordination and in collaboration with the Artistic team, this role will be responsible for providing the highest level of administrative support to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of the department. This includes leading the process to finalise performance casting, coordinating dancer wage payments, and providing general administrative assistance to the wider artistic and planning teams. This role requires efficient communication; ensuring that information about activities are clearly articulated and understood by a variety of stakeholders. This position has a touring component of up to six months of the year.

Duties and Responsibilities • Administrative support for the Artistic Staff (all dancers and teaching staff), reporting to the Head of Artistic Coordination
• Monitoring, approving and collating relevant overtime and additional payments for all dancers, guest artists and teachers, and advising Company Management
• Lead the artistic staff to produce casting for rehearsals and performances, ensuring casting is shared accurately to dancers and across the company
• Work alongside the Senior Artistic Coordinator to manage distribution of performance and rehearsal information to the company, including archival videos, production information, and rehearsal requirements
• Provide high level administrative support to all Artistic Staff and the Artistic Director
• Assist the Senior Artistic Coordinator and Head of Artistic Coordination with dancer administration and organisation of extras and children, as well as any other requests made by Head of Artistic Coordination
• Identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvements, design new processes in collaboration with affected teams, and implement new ways of working
• Maintaining a record of the yearly repertoire and show count
• Assist in the supervision of media calls when required by Media Team
• Provide support and guidance to the Artistic team concerning requirements of the dancer EBA and associated company policies
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • A knowledge of or background in the Arts is preferable, ideally including an understanding of the processes that bring a production to the stage
• Confident and well organised with the ability to work autonomously and with minimum supervision • Excellent verbal communication skills and a diplomatic style and able to work with people at all levels
• Superior attention to detail and document preparation skills
• Superior computer literacy skills including knowledge of relevant software packages: e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and core company software packages
• Strong service ethic – does what they say they will do, follows up and through
• Well-developed project management skills
• Strong awareness of and ability to maintain strictest confidentiality
