Dinner Sous Chef

We are seeking an experienced Dinner Sous Chef to join our team. We are a cafe based in Glen Waverley.The ideal candidate should have:At least 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a professional kitchenAssisting the Head Chef to create menu items, recipes and develop dishesAssisting the head chef in overseeing all kitchen operationsEnsuring that all dishes meet quality standardsAssisting with determining food inventory needs, stocking and orderingEnsuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelinesAbility to prepare, cook and serve food quickly and efficiently with the key aim of high quality and efficiencyMaintain kitchen operations to a high standardShould be friendly & approachable & have a good customer attitudeFull availability, able and willing to work weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shiftsJob Type: Part-timePay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hourExpected hours: 20 – 38 per weekBenefits:Free drinksFree foodSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:Kitchen: 3 years (Preferred)Work Authorisation:Australia (Preferred)Work Location: In person#J-18808-Ljbffr
