Senior Systems Administrator - SCCM / MECM Barangaroo Based – Hybrid working Environment. Permanent Opportunity $125,000.00 + super + bonus This global fund manager seeks a Senior Systems Administrator to join their internal shared services support team.
As an experienced Infrastructure professional, this role will see you responsible for a combination of BAU and project-based operational tasks as well as general day-to-day support issues.
This role requires an individual with the aptitude and flexibility to perform low-level support tickets combined with complicated infrastructure support issues and builds.
Essentially applicants are expected to cover everything from Level 1 – Level 3 support. Working within a shared services IT model and providing support to multiple internal end users; this interesting role will provide support to all hardware and applications running within the organisation.
Prospective applicants are expected to have expertise in SCCM/MECM, application packaging, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy etc. Exposure to Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop and solid understanding of VMware are highly desirable skills for this position.
Experience Required: Essential Skills SCCM/MECM, application packaging, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy etc. Knowledge of the Microsoft Stack and the key technologies associated; Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and Certificate Services. Administration and management of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure – Citrix DaaS / Azure Virtual Desktop. Exposure to cloud providers such as AWS and Microsoft Azure. Modern workplace experience with Microsoft Office 365 (SharePoint, Exchange and Teams). Administration of virtualisation technologies i.e. VMware, Hyper V. Exposure to the following storage technologies including SAN, vSAN and DAS. An understanding of IT security fundamentals and remediation activities. Administration of Internet technologies; Citrix ADC, Zscaler, IDP/IPS and Firewalling (CheckPoint). Desirable Skills: Automation using scripting languages such as PowerShell. Exposure to cloud providers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Office 365. Networking technologies including Cisco router/switch management and troubleshooting. Internet technologies, particularly MS IIS, and Firewall technologies. Virtualisation technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V. Storage technologies including SAN, DAS and RAID.
