Our core business facilitates the hiring, selling, servicing, and transportation of Elevated Work Platforms, including Scissors, Boom Lifts, Telehandlers, and Forklifts to the Construction, Material Handling, and Mining Sectors.
We are expanding our services and looking for an Area Sales Manager to join the team at our Kalgoorlie branch. The key focus of this role will be the establishment of new accounts and increasing awareness of our brand, available services, and product range in the regional market.
The ideal candidate will be a Kalgoorlie local and a hunter, someone who is hungry and loves a challenge. The ability to absorb technical knowledge will come naturally and they will be driven by results. On top of our generous base salary, you will be rewarded with lucrative uncapped commission arrangements allowing for unlimited earning potential.
Please note that this is not a FIFO role - only Kalgoorlie residents will be considered.
Other responsibilities of this role will include:
Identifying new business opportunities and potential revenue streams. Building market share and developing new business. Establishing yourself as an industry client solution partner. Driving revenue growth to meet and exceed agreed-upon targets on a monthly and annual basis. Establishing and maintaining strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders. Spending time in the field by conducting customer site visits that strengthen business relationships. Responding to customer inquiries and providing accurate quotes and advice on hire and sales solutions. Liaising with clients to provide updates on job progress, delivery schedules, and any issues related to transport services or rentals. The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience, ideally 2+ years, in a similar position with a successful track record for achieving results through influence. Experience within the Hire industry working with access equipment will be highly regarded. Proven ability to build and foster strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organisation. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. The ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, effectively meet deadlines and successfully prioritise work. Strong motivation to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
