The Role
Due to recently awarded contracts with some of Australia's biggest Telecommunications carriers, we have two new positions for experienced Area Managers.
The preference is for these roles to be based in Melbourne & Sydney; however, we are open to other locations within the states for the right candidate.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing construction activities and delivery of fixed network projects within your designated patch.
Responsibilities will include: Field resource management of Supervisors and Service Partners.
Driving a strong safety culture.
Ensuring the highest quality standards of work.
Ensuring work is completed within budget and on schedule.
Providing guidance and technical support.
About You
Experience in a similar role within Telecommunications or Civil construction projects.
Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
Tertiary qualification in HSE/OH&S preferable.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to promote positive behaviours.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated experience using Office 365 Suite of applications.
