Purpose of Role: Our Area Managers provide high standards of customer-facing/sales to key sites to support and grow ESCO's market share. This role includes on-site monitoring of product performance, identifying and capturing new sales opportunities to grow market share, and forecasting product usage rates to ensure optimum stock holdings.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Growth: Possess thorough knowledge of all ESCO product offerings to be positioned as a 'trusted advisor' to our customers. Provide equal attention to established customers as to growing new business. Strategy: Develop strategies to penetrate assigned accounts, initiate new business and grow existing business through team and individual selling efforts. Customer support: Provide world-class customer and product support in capital products and aftermarket wear solutions with a high level of professionalism. Prepare high-level correspondence and quality tender responses and manage contractual processes as per company policy. Service: Perform onsite and workshop-based inspections and provide technical advice to optimize ESCO product performance. Demonstrate a strong degree of mechanical aptitude. Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: Some exposure and experience to heavy industry operations or mining (preferred). You will be a self-starter that takes pride in the quality of work you deliver with excellent time management, solid communication and negotiation skills.
