About the Role: Primo Foods have a rare opportunity for an Area Manager Foodservice – NSW to join the team and service North of Sydney and North Coast.
This role is responsible for driving profitable volume and product range within the existing customer base and is to pursue new business opportunities in new and existing markets (end users).
This position is also the primary contact point for existing customers and outlets.
Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Field visits to the distributors and end users across designated territory including regional at least 80% of timeService existing customers via planned territory call frequency.Responsible for the promotion of the Company's products and professional imageSelling the whole product portfolioAchieve new business targets across all channels.Execute the agreed Planned Call in every outlet/customerCommunicate with and provide information to Sales, Marketing, R&D, supply chain and National Contact Centre.Action all complaints within 48 hoursReduction of pricing Claims by 50%About you: Previous work experience in distributor environments, smallgoods manufacturing or FMCGExperience in sales/retail sales/marketing, preferably in the grocery food industrySolid knowledge and understanding of commercial acumen, company's compliance, policies & procedures and government regulationsProven track record of business improvement initiativesDegree/Tertiary qualifiedProficient in delivering high quality customer & client service, providing customers with options and solutionsStrong written communication skills – ability to structure logical presentations and communicate points clearlyAbility to think strategically and to lead, advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skillsAbility to forecast future trends, evaluating market information and understanding demand managementWorking knowledge of customer service software, databases and toolsProficient intermediate user of Microsoft Office (particularly Mac/Tablet based)Strong networking skills with a positive attitude, a 'can do' mindset to achieve outcomesSelf-motivated, shows initiative, can think on your feet with a calming natureWhy work for Primo?
