About the opportunity

This is a significant role with a lot of depth.
Drawing on your vast experience working within the Early Childhood Education and Care sector, you will be taking the lead as you mentor our Education and Care staff across the Southeast region of Melbourne.
Collaborating closely with the General Manager of Children's Services and dedicated Lead Teachers you will oversee the operations of Kids First Australian Education and Care Services.
This impactful role invites you to shape young minds, foster growth, and leave an enduring legacy in early education.

Supporting and supervising the implementation of Kids First's pillars for service excellence.
Building strong and collaborative partnerships, culture, and community relationships.
Supporting the implementation of a high-quality educational program aligning to Kids First Early Years Education Program - Kindergarten Model (EYEP-KM).
Providing a model of excellence across Kids First Child & Family Centres, ensuring a quality early childhood program reflects the principles, practices, and learning outcomes described in the VEYLDF and NQS.
Provide direct supervision, facilitate planning days, oversee staff training days, and provide day-to-day support to Lead Teachers.
Manage operational compliance and staff rostering in accordance with funding guidelines.
Managing and monitoring kindergarten funding, budgets, and expenditure.

What's needed for your success?

Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education Demonstrated experience in managing teams of 10 and above Demonstrated experience in overseeing program development Excellent understanding of the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011 and Education and Care National Law Act 2010 and VEYLDF Proven skills and knowledge in computer and administration, including enrolment database systems and the ability to multi-task, meet timelines, and work under pressure while meeting program deliverables
