We have an immediate vacancy for 1 Permanent Full Time Area Dental Therapist.
The successful Area Dental Therapist will provide routine dental care for enrolled children in our School Dental Therapy Centres and support administration and clinical quality of Dental Therapy Centres in Hedland area.
Duties also include, but are not limited to giving guidance to Dental Therapists and Dental Clinic Assistants and providing presentations on oral health to individuals, schools, community groups and health professionals. 
This role works collaboratively with the Area Dental Officer to manage the provision of oral health services to children in the two clinics in the Hedland area.
Location This position is based out of Dental Therapy Centre's in both Port and South Hedland. It is the second largest town in the Pilbara with a rich mining history and holds the record for the highest tonnage port in Australia. Around 1800km from Perth, the lifestyle is relaxed and being perched on the Indian Ocean provides a variety of leisure activities including fishing and boating. To the south lies Karijini National Park, with its spectacular natural gorges, waterfalls, and pools perfect for hiking and walking. You might like to head further north to Eighty Mile Beach and be treated to the rare sight of flatback turtles nesting on the white sandy beaches. The year-round sunshine makes it the perfect location for enjoying all that nature offers on your weekends off.
