Boyd Recruitment has been exclusively engaged by a market-leading, Design and Manufacturing company to appoint its new Architectural Specification Manager. This newly created role is pivotal to the company's success as it embarks on a significant growth phase, with a focus on driving revenue. The successful candidate will thrive in a low-ego, non-hierarchical setting that values quick decision-making and maintains the company's agility.
The company occupies a distinctive niche in the high-end residential and commercial sectors.  This position will see you frequently engaging with architects, interior designers, engineers, commercial builders, contractors, and end clients, emphasizing specifications in collaboration with architects and designers on their new product range.
The organization possesses several key niches where they assert market leadership in Australia. This position enables them to leverage their expertise as a "Trojan horse" to secure an initial specification, which then allows them to expand the range of products sold within each project. 
 
What you'll be doing The directive is clear - be the beacon and catalyst of success, unleash the business's complete market potential and accelerate growth.  Collaborate with key customers to build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial partnerships. Our client is of the belief that life is full of endless possibilities….  As the Architectural Specification Manager, you'll oversee a portfolio of stakeholders to secure business and drive growth with existing customers, while actively seeking new opportunities. 
Reporting to the General Manager, this role manages all elements of architectural specifications and builder account management. Liaising with our internal cross-functional teams, the Specification Manager will ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions to customers.
This company holds a market-leading position in many market segments and wanting to gain more market share in their existing segments along with develop new markets. In a thriving, yet greenfield environment you will be responsible for designing go-to-market strategies, establishing systems and processes, designing and managing KPIs, and driving sales teams to execute.
Additionally, there is vast potential to enter new segments with their exciting product range. You will spearhead their efforts to enter new segments. You will build the team and the sales capabilities as the company grows. Your entrepreneurial sales approach will be invaluable in establishing long-term, market-leading positions in these new markets.
