Eagleheart is a turn key design & construct medical fitout organisation delivering unique spaces.
We are seeking a Revit / AutoCAD Draftsperson to join our in-house design team.
This role will be critical in assisting with the documentation of architectural and interior fit-out projects.
Initially, you will document projects using AutoCAD while we transition to Revit.
As we fully adopt Revit, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless integration of Revit and BIM processes into both design and documentation workflows.
Your ability to independently support the design team and contribute creatively will be essential, particularly in producing detailed construction documentation.
To ensure success, you will need to be humble, be technically minded, have good communication skills, and be able to problem solve.
Key Responsibilities:Project Documentation: Assist the design team in documenting architectural and interior fit-out projects, starting with AutoCAD and transitioning to full documentation in Revit.Design Support: Collaborate closely with the design team, translating design concepts into accurate and detailed documentation that aligns with the project's creative vision.Revit Integration: Facilitate the transition from AutoCAD to Revit by integrating Revit and BIM processes into the design and documentation workflows.Detailed Documentation: Produce detailed construction documentation, including joinery and custom design elements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with design intent.Revit Support: Provide technical support and guidance to the design team as they transition to using Revit for all design and documentation purposes.Standards and Quality: Ensure that all project documentation adheres to industry standards and company quality expectations, with a focus on design excellence.Collaboration: Work closely with the design team and project managers to ensure that Revit models and documentation reflect the project's creative and functional goals.Experienced with 3Ds Max visualisations is an advantage.Qualifications:Architectural or related qualifications completed to graduate level, either University or Technical college.Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in architectural documentation, with proficiency in AutoCAD and advanced proficiency in Revit / BIM.Demonstrated experience in supporting design teams, with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of architectural and interior design principles.Strong knowledge of Revit, including family creation, template setup, and model management.
Experience with AutoCAD is essential.Understanding of construction processes and methodologies, including Industry Codes and Australian Standards.Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with the ability to articulate design ideas and documentation strategies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to design and documentation workflows.This is a full-time role from the office.
