Job tasks and responsibilities We are currently looking to appoint another Architect within our firm. In this pivotal role, you will work with our Architectural Director to create and deliver the creative vision for each project, leading from inception of design to the completion of build.
You will work in a collaborative team environment with an interior architect, documenter, and our construction team, benefiting from the experience of following the project through construction and to completion of the build.
Your skills and experience A passion for residential architecture Creativity + highly skilled with residential design Strong communication and presentation skills Have an excellent understanding of building process, materials, detailing, and sustainable systems Experience working with a construction company would be a distinct advantage A knowledge of NCC and Town Planning codes in Victoria Strong construction detailing and residential construction knowledge Excellent ArchiCAD or Revit skills would be preferred; however, prior experience with Revit will be considered A quick learner who's able to pick new software and processes Good work ethic and enthusiasm for team collaboration Be a registered architect in Australia Have a minimum of 5 years experience working as an architect in Australia (applicants without this experience will not be considered) Have a personal commitment to professional development and team development both within and outside of company initiatives Job benefits and perks The right person for this position will be one who is passionate about residential homes and looking to benefit from working for an organization that has a clear route mapped out for progression and promotion.
