Your new role
This is a fantastic opportunity that is hard to come by, and not just an ordinary role. With my client being in a healthy position in terms of project pipeline, they are building the team for what's to come in 2025 and beyond. We are now seeking a passionate Architect who has worked in diverse sectors to join their team, to be a part of their plan to grow and deliver more sustainable projects by creating functional spaces one project at a time. They are a medium-sized firm made up of like-minded architects and designers, with a culture that is strong with collaboration, forward-thinking designs and a place that enhances personal development and growth. My client is ready to bring an additional Architect who is going to be given full autonomy to run their own projects from inception to completion, mentor junior up-and-coming Graduate of Architects, not forgetting the ability to be on-site to see the projects through. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the directors who will guide and mentor you along the way, with the purpose of enhancing your skills in becoming a more well-rounded and aspiring architect, all for the purpose of making the city of Adelaide a better place to be.
What you'll need to succeed Lead and manage projects from concept through to completion Assist in the design and documentation of architectural projects Collaborate closely with architects, clients, consultants, stakeholders to ensure cohesive and innovative design solutions Participate in design workshops and project meetings Contribute to project research, analysis, and presentations Support the team in ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard Provide mentorship to junior designers, contributing to the growth of the team members Ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards Minimum of 4+ years' experience in a similar role, ideally within an architecture or design firm Strong portfolio showcasing creativity and technical expertise Excellent communication and collaboration skills Proficiency in design software (Revit, SketchUp, etc.) Eagerness to learn, grow, receive feedback and develop professionally A creative and proactive approach to problem-solving Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously What you'll get in return Opportunity for career progression and leadership development within a growing firm Competitive salary package commensurate with experience Regular team events and activities Design freedom to bring your creativity to life on exciting and diverse projects Inclusive culture with a friendly and supportive team that values collaboration Be part of a firm that is making a real impact through innovative designs What you need to do now
