Based in the South East suburbs of Melbourne, this business has been experiencing double digit growth over the last 2-3 roleReporting to the Credit Manager, you will become part of a high performing full function AR/Credit team. You will be responsible for the collection of overdue accounts via outbound collection calls to a variety of customers, from small SME businesses to large national accounts. The role will be based in their office initially, and after training phase to work from home 1-2 days p/w- to be negotiated). Main duties are comprised of;DutiesManaging large number of accountsInvoicingReceiptingCreating new accountsProcessing paymentsVendor maintenance on systemAscertaining credit viability of customersMaintain and monitor customer credit limitsCollectionsManaging large ledgerBank reconciliationsCredit queriesStop supplyWeekly/Monthly credit reporting to managementRaising credit notes/returns/refundsLiaising with other departments re claimsSkills & experienceThe successful candidate will have a proven collections ability in working across a variety of both large and small accounts, and maintain a minimum of 2+ years' experience in a Credit Control/AR will maintain excellent verbal/written communications skills and be a proven self-starter with a natural ability to build relationships internally/externally.
