Venues NSW is a commercially focused agency of the NSW Government, encompassing the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium as well as major sporting and cultural stadiums and precincts in Sydney, Olympic Park, Parramatta, Newcastle and Wollongong. The network of stadiums and entertainment centres hosts in excess of 5 million people a year at more than 500 events and is a key contributor to the economy.

ABOUT THE ROLE Our newly created Supervisor role is ideal for those looking to take their career to the next level. With thousands of visitors a day, our Aquatics team is key to keeping our pools clean and safe for everyone to enjoy.
You will assist the Aquatic Manager in running an efficient Swim School, Junior Squad and Adult Squad program; liaising with parents and teachers to foster positive relationships with patrons. Ensuring the maintenance of accurate records while upholding high standards across the team. Provide guidance to swim instructors, ensuring lesson plans are followed and students receive high-quality instruction. Conduct evaluations and assessments of swim school students to ensure continuous improvement is maintained. Handle swim school inquiries, feedback, and complaints from parents and participants, addressing concerns and finding resolutions.
You will also assist in ensuring the aquatic facilities are up to standard via pool testing, cleaning and pool operations. Supervise the daily operations of the aquatic facilities and lifeguard team. Conduct regular lifeguard training sessions, drills, and performance evaluations to maintain a high standard of vigilance and preparedness.
Availability is required for mornings, afternoons, weekdays and weekends.
