A motivated individual with a "Can Do" attitude.DUTIESAs part of our Juvenile Operations Team, the role will focus on ensuring production goals are achieved through several daily activities including:Managing key performance indicators related to farming efficiencies with a hands-on approach, and supervising processes to ensure survival/growth/conditioning rates targets are achieved.Managing stocking schedules with efficient communication with other grow out sites.Providing forecast for future transfers and planning accordingly.Managing stocking efficiency and timelines by coordinating with other Cowell operations, overseeing staff, supervising processes, assessing survival/growth/conditioning rates.Developing and reviewing procedures, ensuring that the methods are transferred to the operation by training team leaders. Presence in the field is crucial to ensure the constant realignments between procedures and actual operation.Leading and empowering a team of Aquaculture attendants and graduates to achieve production, quality, environmental and safety objectives.Coordinating and leading bay teams to optimize performance and achieve business objectives.Building and maintaining strong relationships across various departments such as Bay Managers, People & Culture, Safety & Compliance.Providing regular management reports on relevant operational aspects.Operations of equipment (boats, forklifts, grading equipment) and asset maintenance.Quality and HSE compliance linked to our sustainability accreditations (Organic certification, Friends of the Sea, etc.).Liaising between regional production, quality and R&D teams to ensure the flow of operations across the business.Reporting of daily activities including results, incidents, and hazards.REQUIREMENTSCoxswainIf you have aquaculture, marine science or related qualifications, professional experience in a marine environment, natural leadership skills and are interested in growing with a team of highly motivated individuals in an expanding business, please apply or contact us at the following email ****** Seafood runs multi-bay operations across the Eyre Peninsula.
