$91,702 - $104,753 + up to 15.4% Superannuation Various - QLD, Various - ACT, Various - TAS, Various - VIC, Various - NSW The Role The Strategy and Planning Branch within the Strategy, Planning and Independent Assurance Division, Capability Acquisition Sustainment Group (CASG) are seeking to fill several APS 6 positions to support initiatives within the Project and Product Risk Management team.
APS 6 Project Support Officers will have a considerable level of stakeholder engagement in relation to complex issues.
They will: Be required to identify, anticipate and respond to stakeholders' needs and expectations to achieve Branch, Group, and Defence outcomes.
Exercise both initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy, and in the application of practices and procedures.
Contribute to providing detailed professional project and policy advice in relation to policy development and risk management.
Work independently with the opportunity for reasonable autonomy and accountability for the achievement of outcomes of their work.
Be accountable to contribute towards ongoing self-improvement and professional development.
About our Team Strategy and Planning Branch is responsible for best practice in Program, Project and Product Management and for leading and defining new ways of doing business that is responsive to Defence's future capability requirements.
The Project and Product Risk Management team within Strategy and Planning Branch are leading improvements in Project Management & Project Controls, to strengthen CASG's Risk Management framework.
