Infrastructure Principal Project Officer

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Principal Project Officer to lead and coordinate the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of infrastructure projects and initiatives. This role requires a person-centred approach and strong construction project management skills to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Lead and coordinate infrastructure projects using a person-centred approach, ensuring they meet performance criteria such as scope, budget, schedule, quality, and building codes. Project Management: Apply construction project management methodologies to deliver timely, high-quality outcomes, manage risks, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure appropriate documentation. Scope and Planning: Develop, design, and implement scope of works and project plans for low to high complexity infrastructure projects. Subject Matter Expertise: Use construction-industry experience to lead multi-disciplinary teams and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver priority infrastructure projects. Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and sustain effective working relationships with team members and diverse stakeholders to leverage resources and technical expertise. Governance: Develop and contribute to flexible and responsive governance mechanisms to support infrastructure projects of varying complexity. Research and Analysis: Conduct systematic research and analyze complex data to provide evidence-based strategic advice to senior managers.
