As part of the Library's team, you will help support organisational reform, working collaboratively with your team to shape the Library's future.The key duties of the position include:The Library is seeking to fill an ongoing Program Manager, Technical Acquisitions (APS6) role in the Collect and Acquire Section of the Collection Branch.The Program Manager, Technical Acquisitions is responsible for inspecting, locating and preserving digital files from physical carriers acquired by the National Library. The role involves quality assurance and managing the relocation of digital archives into a digital preservation system, whilst adhering to archival management practices. The role is critical to the development and enhancement of the National Library's obsolete physical carrier collection and involves extracting data from current and historical software and hardware.We are looking for someone who has experience leading teams, managing digital processing and a sound understanding of obsolete physical carriers. The ideal candidate would have experience in working across teams and managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
