APS6 Policy Officer

Randstad currently have opportunities in the Federal Government for experienced Policy specialists, working
as APS 6, you will be self motivated and capable of bringing your talents to our client who values hard work and
commitment.

You will bring the following experience to your new role

? Effective written correspondence such as briefs, policy, reports, proposals.
? In depth research and analysis on relevant topics to help inform policy.
? Working effectively within team environments and stakeholders for positive outcomes.

About you

? Effective negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
? Highly developed judgement, intelligence and common sense.
? High level of attention to detail, highly motivated, results driven with an ability to work independently.
? You will ideally hold a baseline security clearance

Your responsibilities include

? Providing high quality written materials in short time frames with limited direct information.
? Undertake research and analysis to support policy implementation
? Work closely with stakeholders to inform and agree to those plans.
? Provide secretariat support
