Who we are: The Digital Services Division (DSD) is responsible for enabling Information and Communication Technology (ICT) functions and activities in the department.
The division provides a secure, modern ICT environment to conduct business 24/7 and focus on achieving departmental outcomes.
DSD staff work collaboratively across the department, leveraging advances in technology to deliver nationally consistent services and solutions.
DSD aims to strengthen partnerships with other divisions through professional advice, innovative solutions, and high-quality ICT services.
The Job: Reporting to the Assistant Director, the APS 6 officers will complete the following duties:
Oversight of the delivery of services, ensuring agreed service levels, security requirements, and other quality standards are met through vendor relationships. Assist with the implementation of processes and procedures, tools, and techniques for monitoring and managing the performance of technology services. Provide technical advice and communicate clearly on a range of complex issues or topics. Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and service partners. Provide appropriate status and other reports to managers and senior users. Ensure that processes and practices are aligned across teams and providers to operate effectively and efficiently.
