APS6 Senior HR Advisor – Workplace AdjustmentsStart: December 2024Salary: $91,140 to $102,152 + 15.4% superannuationContract Duration: through to 30th June 2025Location: CanberraEmployment Type: s26 or non-ongoingAbout the roleWorking to the Assistant Director, you will review and provide advice in relation to sensitive requests to support and enable our workforce to perform their duties.As the Senior HR Advisor, you will provide a point of contact to support employees and managers review, consider and navigate workplace adjustment requests. You will draw on your existing skills, experience and capability to manage multiple and often competing deliverables.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a workplace adjustment framework, including standard operating procedures and policies, to support staff and managers.Provide support, including information regarding legislative requirements, information, and referrals to managers to support them in assessing requests for workplace adjustments.Ensure knowledge of and compliance with legislation, financial and HR delegations, and awareness of the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) relating to workplace adjustment and sensitive information.Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder networks.Create space to have honest, safe, and confidential conversations.Our Ideal CandidateOur ideal candidate will have a HR generalist background with expertise in workplace adjustments.
