About the roleThe Cyber Security Officer, reporting to the Assistant Director Cyber Security Operations, is responsible for supporting the Agency's Cyber Security Operations (CSO) capability. As part of the Cyber Security Team, we:The CSO team is responsible for continuously monitoring, detecting, and reporting on cyber security incidents and vulnerabilities to assess the level of threat to the agency. This includes risk identification and analysis, as well as providing the technical expertise to manage the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform, vulnerability scanning systems, and other cyber security capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include (you may undertake some or all of the following):Continuously monitor cyber security incidents.Detect and report vulnerabilities.Manage the SIEM platform.Conduct risk identification and analysis.Our Ideal CandidateTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following experience, skills, and attributes:Desirable AttributesEligibilityThe ACIC is committed to diversity and inclusion.
