$91,702 - $104,753 + 10% BDCP + up to 15.4% Superannuation Brindabella Park - ACT The Role The Satellite Communications Systems Program Office (SATCOMSPO) Contract Management Officer will be accountable for procurement planning, tendering, contract formation and contract management activities, ensuring compliance with legislation, procurement policies, processes and procedures. They will provide advice, direction, assistance and services for procurement policy, technical, commercial, legal, financial investigation and other requirements to support contract management outcomes, as well as using experience to deliver procurement related documentation including templates, schedule, correspondence, reports, submissions, plans and strategies, risk and performance reviews, contract change proposals and other contract management documentation. For further information, please contact the contact officer.About our Team Satellite Communications Systems Program Office (SATCOMSPO), within Space Systems Branch, works in partnership with Industry to deliver satellite communication technology equipment and services to customers across Defence in sustainment and operational environments. Space Systems Branch acquires and sustains SATCOM systems, and is a trusted advisor of SATCOM systems for the Australian Defence Organisation. The team comprises professionals from various disciplines including project management, engineering, commercial, and logistics. This multi-disciplinary team is composed of highly skilled and motivated Australian Public Service, Australian Defence Force and contracted personnel. The team works from Brindabella Park offices in Canberra and maintains close collaboration with other parts of Defence and other Government Agencies. Working closely with the SATCOMSPO EL 1 Contracting Manager, the Contract Management Officer will monitor and manage contract administration, performance and risks against contracts and contribute to appropriate action.
