$83,706 - $89,659 + up to 15.4% Superannuation Amberley - QLD The Role The APS 5 Technical Integrity Officer will assist in maintaining the Accredited Maintenance Organisation accreditation of the Joint Logistics Unit South Queensland in accordance with Defence Land Materiel Safety Frameworks.
Duties of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Manage and conduct Quality Assurance audits to ensure compliance with technical regulations and policy. Assist with the development and review of processes on logistics compliance activities. Generate reports on audit activities and compliance performance for management. Comply with legislative requirements. Support the design of local engineering proposals and associated tasks. About our Team Joint Logistics Unit South Queensland (JLU(SQ)) is seeking highly motivated, proactive self-starters who want to learn and grow in the organization while building strong working partnerships with internal and external contractors.
The JLU(SQ) primary site is within RAAF Base Amberley, with satellite sites at Enoggera, Meeandah, Wallangarra, and Oakey.
Our Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will be highly motivated, adaptable, and resilient in their approach. They will have a passion for and experience in technical compliance and assurance.
They will have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a larger team.
The successful candidate will have: Trade qualification or substantial experience in a trade (e.g. Electrical, Mechanical or General Engineering discipline). An understanding of technical regulatory inspections of Industrial/Commercial equipment and vehicles. The ability to read and apply technical data to a finished product to ensure compliance to a high standard. Demonstrated understanding of how to adhere to national standards and/or code regulation regarding compliance and quality assurance. The capability to apply required knowledge to identify and report outcomes of inspections on Equipment (ADF Land Materiel) such as armoured vehicles, truck and trailer platforms, weapons, and electrical systems. Demonstrated ability to build and sustain effective relationships with team members and key stakeholders to achieve desired results. Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
