We are seeking a candidate who can join a media branch in a Federal Government Agency on the Gold Coast.
As part of the Social Media Team, you will be responsible for the content published on the agency's social media channels.
The team owns two key streams of work: social media content strategy, which includes content creation and advertising, and social media analytics, listening, and reporting.

The position will be required to provide policy advice within an area of specialisation based on policies and legislation.
The position will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of matters.

Candidates MUST be an Australian citizen to work within the Federal Government.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Writing social media posts in line with the agency's brand and style guides.
Supporting the development and implementation of the social media strategy.
Fostering an online community by identifying and sharing appropriate 3rd party content.
Using social media platforms and social media management software to schedule social media content.
Using data and insights for refining our approach across social media.
Creating reports on social media performance and providing advice that improves performance.
Collaborating with subject matter experts from across the division to create timely, relevant social media content.
Key skills/experience required:
Experience in disability or health-related sectors.
1-2 years working in social media for a national brand or local, state, or commonwealth government.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to deliver creative, accessible content in a regulatory environment.
Experience with social analytics and paid social.
Experience with Hootsuite.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
This is a 12-month opportunity located in Robina, paying $55.24 p/hour plus super.
