We have openings for APS5 Senior Officer and APS6 Specialist roles. In these positions, you will play an important role in our agency, ensuring that procurement activities are efficient and comply with the Commonwealth Procurement Framework.

These roles are available across the following teams:
ICT ProcurementThe ICT branch is pivotal in advancing AUSTRAC's information technology strategies.
They focus on maintaining a robust and sustainable information and technical architecture while also driving the design and implementation of future systems and enablers.
The APS5 and APS6 roles in this division will be focused on providing procurement and contracting advice to AUSTRAC's IT sections, reviewing and assisting with IT procurement documentation, developing and maintaining IT procurement templates and guidelines, educating staff on IT procurement and contract management, and supporting the use of established procurement arrangements.
Central ProcurementThe central branch oversees all financial and corporate governance aspects at AUSTRAC, including strategic planning, performance, finance, procurement, and program management.
These integrated functions are essential for ensuring AUSTRAC achieves its mission through efficient and effective capability delivery.
The APS5 and APS6 roles in this division will be focused on providing general procurement and contracting advice to AUSTRAC's business areas, reviewing and assisting with procurement documentation, developing and maintaining procurement templates and guidelines, managing mandatory procurement reporting obligations, ensuring accurate AusTender reporting, and supporting the use of established procurement arrangements.
APS5 Senior Officer, Procurement As an APS5 Senior Officer, Procurement at AUSTRAC, your role is integral to the management and efficiency of AUSTRAC's procurement activities.
You will help administer processes, manage procurement registers, and ensure compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Framework.
Key Duties: Assist with administrative functions, including maintaining the AUSTRAC contracts register and creating purchase orders.Manage AusTender reporting for all AUSTRAC contracts to ensure information is accurate and up-to-date.Review less complex procurement-related documentation and assist in drafting routine documents such as spending proposals, evaluation reports, and requests for quotes.Provide surge capacity to the travel team by processing travel requests according to established procedures.Ensure procurement activities are conducted efficiently and in compliance with relevant frameworks and guidelines.APS6 Specialist, Procurement As an APS6 Specialist, Procurement at AUSTRAC, your expertise will support AUSTRAC's procurement activities by providing complex advice, reviewing documentation, and maintaining procurement templates.
You will ensure that all procurement activities comply with the Commonwealth Procurement Framework and meet mandatory reporting obligations.
Key Duties: Provide complex procurement and contracting advice and assistance to various business areas of AUSTRAC.Review procurement-related documentation and assist staff in drafting routine documents, including spending proposals, evaluation reports, and work orders.Develop and maintain procurement and contracting reference materials, such as templates and guidelines, and deliver training on procurement processes.Manage AusTender reporting for all AUSTRAC contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules.Assist with general administrative functions, including maintaining the AUSTRAC contracts register and providing guidance on using established procurement panels and arrangements.More Information and How to Apply AUSTRAC is conducting a bulk recruitment for Procurement roles across a range of teams and classification levels.
