$83,706 - $89,659 + up to 15.4% Superannuation Rockingham - WA The Role Are you looking to apply your support skills to ensure the ongoing sustainment of Materiel assets managed by the Explosive Materiel Branch for the Department of Defence?
As an APS 5 Project Support Officer, working for the Explosive Ordnance Maintenance Directorate (EOMD), you will be given the opportunity to work with a diverse team to deliver Australian Defence Force systems.
This is a fast paced and dynamic environment requiring much stakeholder engagement and attention to detail.
Every day will be different as you embrace opportunities to: Apply your administration and/or project management skills and experience across a diverse range of activities Support the Maintenance team including scribe for meetings, document control, archiving and various administration tasks Manage the training information including data entry of maintenance authority reports, allocate awareness training, maintaining personnel training files, registers and workbooks Prepare or provide input for plans, procedures, presentations and reports Exercise sound initiative and judgment in applying appropriate practices and procedures; and Follow defined policy, processes and procedures in a highly regulated environment including participating in regular audits and quality assurance activities Strong written and oral communication skills are an integral aspect of these roles.
You must be able to network/communicate at all levels including engaging with outside About our Team Explosive Ordnance Maintenance Directorate (EOMD) is an integral part of Explosive Materiel Branch (EMB), which is part of the Guided Weapons Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) Systems Division and our focus is to maintain Guided Weapons for the Australian Defence Force in accordance with business activities policies and procedures.
EOMD comprises of approximately 120 dedicated employees of various disciplines, including EO Maintenance personnel, planners, stores persons, quality, document control and support personnel.
We are located in Canberra, Penrith, Ipswich, RAAF Amberley and Rockingham (HMAS Stirling).
