$83,706 - $89,659 + up to 15.4% SuperannuationAmberley QLD; Richmond NSWThe RoleThe Learning and Development Officer will play a critical role in contributing to the development of Air Mobility Group (AMG) training.Within this role, you will perform analysis, design, development and evaluation of learning and development activities, including development of curriculum for AMG aircraft platforms.You will conduct stakeholder engagement in relation to complex learning and development issues to determine aviation and maintenance training needs, and lead development of relevant curriculum.You will develop and maintain supporting systems, policies and processes, evaluate and recommend learning and development strategies for emerging capabilities and conduct governance activities in accordance with the Defence Systems Approach to Defence Learning.The successful candidate will coordinate and contribute to team objectives in alignment with work plans, and provide advice and assistance on various modes of task completion to team members.They will be capable of reviewing and developing the quality of work undertaken by others as well as identifying opportunities for on-the-job training within the work unit.About our TeamAMG is responsible for preparing and conducting air mobility operations for Defence force projection. As such, Squadrons within AMG operate globally on a daily basis and are often the first on the scene when deploying Defence assets in times of crisis.We operate six aircraft types in a range of roles covering air logistics support, airborne operations, and air-to-air refuelling.We also support a range of tasks including aero-medical evacuation missions, along with search and rescue.Flying squadrons within AMG are located at RAAF Bases Richmond, Amberley and Defence Establishment Fairbairn.
