Position: APS5 Contact OfficerDFP Recruitment Perth are seeking multiple APS5 equivalent Contact Officers to join the Contact & Indigenous Service Delivery Stream of a Commonwealth Government-managed scheme.

Role Overview:This is a full-time position offering benefits such as annual leave, personal leave accrual, and a competitive superannuation rate of 15.4%.
Successful candidates will receive tailored role-specific training and access to wellbeing support.
As a Contact Officer, you will manage inbound and outbound calls, providing applicants and their nominees with updates on their applications and outcomes.
You will also redirect specific inquiries to relevant internal teams when necessary.
Your role will involve assisting applicants in accessing support services and guiding them through each stage of the application process.
Given the sensitive nature of the work, all interactions must be trauma-informed and respectful.
Key Responsibilities:Provide inbound and outbound telephony support to applicants, nominees, and other callers.Organize workflow with minimal direction and escalate risks or issues as required.Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely outcomes for applicants.Resolve routine and complex inquiries, collaborating with other teams within the scheme to address complaints or systemic issues.
