They have an exciting opportunity available for multiple APS5 & APS6 Procurement Officer's to join the Procurement & Corporate Services team in assisting business areas to procure goods and services for the Agency.12-month initial Labour Hire contract with the opportunity to extend.APS 5 level role offering $55.24 hourly + Superannuation.APS 6 level role offering $60.26 hourly + Superannuation.This is a hybrid position, offering 2 days working from home, with the remaining 3 on site in Geelong. 37.5-hour work weeks.About the role:The APS6 Procurement Officer is a team membership position that may be required to perform work that involves team leadership and management responsibilities requiring the setting of priorities and managing workflows of a team.Your responsibilities will include:Working collaboratively with NDIA business areas as a procurement business partner to establish appropriate procurement methodologies, preparing a range of procurement documentation, evaluating tenders and negotiating contracts.Managing and undertaking procurement reporting and verification activities, and processing procurements through the financial management system.Maintaining and implementing procurement and contract management policies, procedures, and frameworks.Contributing to procurement planning activities within the wider Procurement Team and across the Agency.Providing specialist procurement advice and ensuring NDIA procurement activities are conducted in line with legislative requirements, the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and the NDIA Procurement Policy to deliver value for money outcomes that contribute to better social and economic outcomes for people with disability.Providing quality and timely advice to internal and external stakeholders, including guidance and reporting to the Branch Leadership, and the Executive Leadership Team.Monitoring and progressing work area activities to achieve work area objectives, ensuring consistent and high-quality outputs and maintaining team cohesion.About youAustralian citizenship is a requirement to be eligible for this positionDemonstrated understanding of federal or state government procurement processes.Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Intermediate understanding of the MS Office Suite.Demonstrated experience managing high volume requests and ability to multitask.Ability to remain composed in a changing, fast-paced environment.Previous experience using Procurement, HR and/or Project Management business systems.Management of staff (ASP6 only)APPLYSubmit your resume, or for further information please // +61 3 9236 7751Desired Skills and ExperienceDemonstrated understanding of federal or state government procurement processes.Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Intermediate understanding of the MS Office Suite.Demonstrated experience managing high volume requests and ability to multitask.Ability to remain composed in a changing, fast-paced environment.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionPurchasingIndustriesProfessional Services#J-18808-Ljbffr
