Full-time Salary: $82,403 - $101,745 About the roles The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission's (ACIC) overseas deployments continue to provide valuable opportunities for intelligence collection and exchange.Operationally, they have also resulted in joint activity against offshore serious organised crime threats targeting Australia for importation of illicit goods, cybercrime activity and the movement of illicit funds overseas through money laundering.Our APS5 and APS6 Overseas Corporate Support Officer and Coordinator work within the Workplace Relations and Performance team and manages the governance, administration and pre-deployment processes for all ACIC staff deployed offshore.They are responsible for maintaining the centralised policies which govern the ACIC's offshore presence, including both long-term deployments and short-term missions and act as a central point of coordination for ACIC international engagement.The positions inform the establishment of centralised policies and processes to govern ACIC's international engagements and assist with the implementation of the agency's international strategy.The Overseas Corporate Support Officer and Coordinator maintain strong stakeholder relationships with relevant international sections of Government Departments, National and State law enforcement agencies and foreign law enforcement agencies.They play a critical role in working strategically to identify current and future challenges and provides expert advice on policy.Under limited direction, the APS6 Overseas Corporate Support Coordinator is required to: Manage the production of a range of high-quality governance and policy services for internal and external stakeholders Deliver complex logistical and organisational support to new and existing employees and their families relating to offshore deployments Foster inter-disciplinary and inter-agency relationships that promote collaborative and mutually beneficial outcomes Provide specialist advice to key internal and external stakeholders on international policy developments and ACIC international activities Maintain a high-level of awareness of ACIC international engagement in order to provide support to staff and enable international foreign visits to the ACIC and Australia Prepare accurate and timely reports on international deployments, including operational updates, outcome and lessons learnt Undertake a range of activities to support the achievement of the ACIC's International Strategy, including development, review and maintenance of relevant internal policies, procedures, guidelines and SOPs with a significant international content in consultation with line areas.Undertake a range of HR activities to support the HR teams within the branch  Under direction, the APS5 Overseas Corporate Support Officer is required to: Coordinate and support the planning, preparation and execution of international deployments Assist in the development and implementation of operational plans and strategies for international deployments Maintain comprehensive documentation and records related to international deployments, ensuring compliance with record keeping requirements Contribute to the development and review of relevant policies, procedures and guidelines Provide administrative support to team members, ensuring compliance with established protocols and procedures Provide general guidance and advice to stakeholders on all matters relating to international deployments Undertake a range of HR activities to support the HR teams within the branch  Our ideal candidates To be successful in the roles, you will demonstrate the following experience, skills and attributes: Exceptional organisational skills with an ability to manage competing priorities Professional interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders Demonstrated experience in the provision of high-level administrative support, including ability to research, identify trends and influences that will impact work priorities and deliver outcomes on time Well-developed oral and written communication skills, including the ability to review, draft and prepare policies and reports Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to conduct systematic analysis to anticipate, identify and resolve problems professionally and efficiently To be considered at the APS level 6, you will also: Demonstrate leadership experience with an ability to train and mentor staff Have an awareness and understanding of relevant legislative and policy frameworks, government decision-making processes and international deployment guidelines and regulations.Possess the ability to provide expert advice to stakeholders on matters relating to internal deployments, including preparing relevant strategic advice where appropriate Have the ability to prioritise workloads for yourself and other team members, while monitoring progress toward deliverables across the work area Demonstrate the ability to think strategically, fostering a high-performance and continuous improvement culture Eligibility
